Yewdale holds a variety of training courses and seminars, covering installation through to manufacturing on a wide range of products at our headquarters in Essex and also available online.

Cassette Blinds Training Course

Learn how to install our cassette blinds and receive a certificate upon completion.

Watch two practical demonstrations; a live installation of an overhead cassette blind and a cassette blind with side channels.

You will learn about our unique goalpost installation technique, which we developed to cut down the time it takes to install a cassette blind with side channels.

This training course is recommended for blind installers who want to install Yewdale cassette blinds quickly and efficiently.

Anti-Ligature Training

Covering selling, surveying and installation techniques

Due to the constant developments of the market-leading YewdaleKestrel® anti-ligature system, along with stipulations from various healthcare environments and insurance bodies, it is now a mandatory requirement that only those individuals with a valid numbered YewdaleKestrel® certificate are legally able to install this fail-safe anti-ligature system.

N.B. Please note that YewdaleKestrel® accessories, such as wardrobe rails, soap dishes, along with YewdaleKestrel® shower tracks do not require the installer to first attend a training course.

Face to face course held at our London showroom available on the last Thursday of every month.

Anti- Ligature Refresher Training

Covering selling, surveying and installation techniques

To enable all valid YewdaleKestrel® certificate holders to legally maintain their certification, an online refresher course must be completed on an annual basis. A new 12-month certificate will be issued accordingly.

N.B. Please note that this refresher course can only be undertaken if the initial training has been undertaken and a valid YewdaleKestrel® certificate number has already been issued. See point 6.2 of our terms and conditions.
